The 2017 National Guernsey Convention in Saratoga Springs, New York will take place from Monday, June 26 – Saturday, July 1. The schedule is jam-packed full of fun activities for Guernsey enthusiasts of all ages.

This year, 87 adult and 26 youth participants tested their judging skills in the Online All-American Contest. Participants were also able to vote for their favorite heifer and cow from the nominees.
This year’s People’s Choice Heifer Award goes to Adams Creek AP Bianca-ETV, owned by Alyssa Nuttleman of Bangor, Wisconsin.
The People’s Choice Cow Award goes to Flambeau Manor RO Lauren-ET, owned by Gary Van Doorn of Tony, Wisconsin.
Online All-American Judging Contest
Ties were determined by the contestant with the most points in the classes that were closest in the official judges’ voting. This year’s two closest classes were Winter Calves and Fall Yearlings. The tie for first was determined by the Fall Yearlings. The tie for third was so heated, it came down to the fifth-closest class, the Fall Calves! The total scores are out of 150. This year’s winner was a repeat from last year! Congrats to the Adult Division winners!
